A fine pair of Chinese yellow-ground famille rose medallion bowls painted with ribbon-tied branches of fruiting peaches and wan characters, the medallions with lingzhi and flower sprays, all on a yellow sgraffito ground with foaming waves below, the underglaze blue interiors with peonies and lingzhi around a medallion of rockwork, lingzhi and ribbon-tied wan characters, underglaze blue six-character Daoguang seal marks and of the period, 15cm.
Provenance: Private Family Collection, Devon. Condition report: no damage, repair, flaking or wear to enamels.
